• Ultra-thin composite wear plate
• The plate is composed of construction steel EN10029-S235JRG2 and a wear resistant coating applied by arc welding
• The deposit has been realised by means of stringer beads to give low dilution, quick solidification and a homogeneous structure with a finely cracked pattern giving a uniform wear surface specially adapted to abrasive wear
• Refined microstructure with a high volume of chromium carbides evenly distributed throughout the thickness of the deposit
• Keeps its outstanding properties up to approximately 200°C (400°F)

The ultra-thin composite wear plate Hardlite is designed for assemblies that must resist wear and where weight constraint is a priority. Easy to handle and to install, it limits mass and inertia of moving parts.

The Hardlite plates can be cut and formed easily. They are used for armouring or double facing of components subjected to static or dynamic constraints.

Examples

Pipework, elbows, fan blades, classifier blades, riddles, screw conveyors, hoppers, chutes, buckets, armouring, etc.

Structure: Fined grained, saturated with microscopic chromium carbide particles.

		2 + 2 = 4mm                      Ultra-thin: 5mm maximum

Hardness: 66-68 HRC (harder than quartz)
