DESCRIPTION
---
• Composite wear plate
• The plate is composed of construction steel EN10 029-S235JRG2 and a wear resistant coating applied by arc welding
• The deposit has been realised by means of oscillation beads to give low dilution and a homogeneous structure with a finely cracked pattern giving a uniform wear surface especially adapted to abrasive wear
• High volume of chromium carbides evenly distributed throughout the thickness of the deposit
• Keeps its outstanding properties up to approximately 400°C
APPLICATIONS
---
The composite wear plate Hardplate 300 is designed for parts that must resist abrasive or erosive wear with impacts and moderate mechanical constraints.
The Hardplate 300 plates can be cut and formed easily. They are used for armouring or double facing of components subjected to static or dynamic constraints.
Examples
Agricultural applications, blast furnace slag, chutes, cones and transfers, glassware, armouring of fans, crushers, hoppers, pumps, etc.
WEAR DEPOSIT CHARACTERISTICS
---
Structure: High chromium cast iron and niobium carbides in an austentic matrix. Niobium carbides increase abrasion and impact resistance compared to classical high chromium cast irons.
| Surface | x500: Metallographic structure |

APPLICATIONS
---
The composite wear plate Hardplate 300S is designed for parts that must resist abrasive or erosive wear with impacts and moderate mechanical constraints.
The Hardplate 300S plates can be cut and formed easily. They are used for armouring or double facing of components subjected to static or dynamic constraints.
Examples
Agricultural applications, hooks, slag cones and blast furnace load preparation, glassware, armouring of fans, crushers, hoppers, pumps, etc.
