| MEMS-SMART welding includes:

• Inspection of components subject to wear: | |
• Chemical analysis inspection of raw materials: Incoming raw materials are analysed using X-ray crystallography, to asses their wear characteristics |  |
| • Checking the oil used in bearings: Presence of foreign particles in the oil is analysed | |
| • Measuring power consumption of the mill motor: Power consumption of the mill motor is monitored continuously. This is an essential requirement to assess grinding efficiency and associated costs. |  |
