Welding Alloys’ solution

  • Welding Alloys can redesign & manufacture new parts using our ultra-light wear plates, Hardlite™. These plates combat wear on the internal surfaces caused by circulating abrasive particles inside the equipment used for material transfer in various industries.
  • Hardlite™ has a maximum thickness of 5mm and offers an extremely high resistance to abrasion and erosion thanks to a very hard deposit applied by arc welding. The result is a refined microstructure with a high volume of chromium carbides.
  • Hardlite™ is lighter, easier, safer to handle and more flexible than standard wear plates, so it can be easily shaped and adapted to your installation.
  • The perfect solution where weight is a key factor.

Benefits

Longer equipment service life and better wear resistance can be achieved by applying this product, which is harder than quartz. 

Consistency and customer service

Our Integra™ Service Centres can manufacture and supply a full range of wear plate products in accordance with OEM or the customer’s own designs, Welding Alloys are also able to develop specific welding wires to fulfill any customer requirements.

The Welding Alloys Group is pleased to launch a unique thermal spray solution for applications in the Waste to Energy, Biomass and Fossil Fuel boilers. This process is suitable for black liquor boilers, fume extraction hoods and ducts in the steel industry, and can be tailored for a large range of other applications, including abrasion, corrosion and erosion at room temperature.
