Welding Alloys South Asia Pvt Ltd -  India are currently recruiting a Purchasing Executive.

The role will be to research and negotiate the best price and quality for our supply needs. You will also need to establish relationships and serve as a representative of the company when negotiating contracts and building vendor and supplier trust as well as track and monitor the delivery and confirmation of all materials and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.
  • Request quotes and compare prices for maximum ROI.
  • Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases.
  • Negotiate appropriate contracts for pricing and supply.
  • Responsible for all imports and exports material and arranging vehicles for dispatch material.
  • Work with team members, supervisors, and purchasing manager to develop future purchasing plans and source potential relationships with vendors.
  • Collaborate with financial team members on contracts, invoicing, and other financial matters.
  • Undertake any other related jobs or tasks assigned to you by your superior from time to time.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent written and spoken English.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of purchasing processes, policies and systems.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Ability to negotiate, establish, and process contracts.
  • Able to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently.
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail.
  • Able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sense of responsibility, ethics, integrity, empathy, discretion and sensitivity.

Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge:

  • High school degree or equivalent; bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in relevant field.
