Sieves and screens
Sieves and screens are used in extremely harsh environments that are prone to wear caused by temperature, impact and abrasion. This type of equipment is specifically designed and calibrated to optimise the flow of materials and avoid clogging.
The sieves and screens developed by Welding Alloys are tailored to our customers’ requirements and provide a unique solution in terms of design and diversity of materials used.
SOLUTIONS FOR SIEVES AND SCREENS
Welding Alloys Integra™ services operate from workshops located across the globe, as well as on-site, to deliver a complete service to a wide range of industrial customers. Welding Alloys supplies sieves and screens that provide smooth surfaces with precisely cut-out apertures to help eliminate blockages. Our products offer exceptional wear properties and are engineered to maintain feed rates and material sizing.
We produce new screens in a large variety of configurations, produced to customer specification for use in material handling where impact and abrasion occur. Various components can be manufactured from our Hardplate™, Tuffplate™ and Hardlite™ range of chromium and complex, carbide-based wear plates. A wide range of sieves and screens are available in different designs and grades to match your particular working conditions.
Our proven solutions consistently achieve lower wear rates, compared to sieves and screens cut from quenched and tempered plates, due to the uniformly distributed chromium and complex carbide matrix of our wear plates. Welding Alloys’ technical experts can assist in optimising your component response to wear, thereby minimising the need for sieve and screen replacement outside of planned maintenance cycles.
We offer a complete range of maintenance, repairs, and services, including:
- Wear audits
- Wear response optimisation
- Wear protection
