She started as HR assistant and rose through the ranks thanks to hard work and a positive attitude. Lizelle loves her job at WASA, but she equally loves leaving the office and going home to her husband and two daughters.
We asked her some questions to get to know her a little better:
What gets you out of bed in the morning?
Currently, the cries of my hungry infant daughter!
In general, knowing I have to start the day, do what I need to do, live life and move forward.

How would you describe your day job to a child?
I work with other moms and dads who draw on work papers for me and after they have worked hard, I must make sure they get money to buy food and toys.
What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy the diversity of my role; various responsibilities and projects, reporting, payroll, and assisting employees.
What three words would you use to describe your role?
Approachable. Helpful. Reliable.
If you could choose anyone in the world, who would you
pick as your mentor?
So much of who I am today is attributed to the example, guidance and support of my loving and caring father, my mentor of life.
Dream country to visit?
What is your motto or personal mantra?
It’s nice to be nice.
I still believe in the age-old values of good manners and respect.

would it be?
She is a famous, wealthy celebrity who uses her power to make people laugh and to help the needy.
