On March 6th and 8th 2018, Welding Alloys delivered a maintenance seminar in the CEMEX plant, to the new generation of engineers in charge of short and medium-term maintenance decisions in several plants across Mexico.
CEMEX S.A.B. de C.V., known as CEMEX, is a Mexican multinational building material company present in more than 50 countries, with over 18 billion USD in revenue.
The seminar topic was “Welding Alloys - Comprehensive anti-wear solutions from the quarry to the container” delivered over 1.5 days. The seminar is a pilot program to deliver shorter seminars in other production plants across the country to promote Welding Alloys Group in the cement industry, with technologies that will help to increase their performance and achieve maintenance milestones.
The seminar was delivered in conjunction with the continuous improvement manager for CEMEX Mexico with help of Eusebio Mendez (EX-Maintenance Manager, Colombia), Carlos Aguilar (WA) and Erick Cuevas (WAP).
In an effort to promote Welding Alloys as the ‘go-to’ provider of solutions for the cement industry, the next seminars will target plants where Welding Alloys Panamericana is not currently as well known.
