In Africa, we can see great potential for growth in the sugar cane industry in the coming years. Welding Alloys Group has recently invested significant resources in the development of consumables and machines dedicated to the repair and maintenance of production tools in this industrial sector.
On the 10th, 11th and 12th of April, Welding Alloys France took part in the 8th edition of the Africa Sugar Outlook in Nairobi, Kenya. This must-attend event is an opportunity to bring together various players from the sugar industry (traders, manufacturers, refiners, millers, government, industry bodies) and discuss trade policy, new investment projects, regional markets, production efficiencies and development opportunities.
As a result of these three days of sharing and exchange, the desire of several African countries to reduce imports and to focus on increasing local sugar production has emerged. Several sugar cane plant construction projects are underway on the continent.
Welding Alloys France is ready to support these various sugar factories in their future repair and maintenance operations thanks to wires such as MAX EXTRACT, HARDFACE UCW or ROBOCANE, but also via the Sugar Mill Kit New Generation machine.
