Following Welding Alloys’ acquisition of Premtech (late April 2023), we have made further investment into strengthening the activities of both brands through the purchase of a larger, more modern facility. Premtech has recently started to migrate its operations to this new premises, a 14,473 square foot industrial unit in Goldthorpe, Rotherham. The new workshop will act as the hub for both brands’ industrial operations.
Welding Alloys will also continue to operate from their new location in Hildersham, Cambridge for any administrative activities.
The move to the new premises will be highly beneficial for both businesses, as not only does it offer a significantly larger shop floor, but also room to grow the workforce, as well as further develop the expertise and skills of current employees.

The move is predicted to be finalised by the end of June 2024, and from then on the teams at Welding Alloys and Premtech will be able to offer customers an extensive range of wear-resistant products and services in an array of industries, such as cement, mining, recycling, power generation, and steel making.
