Welding Alloys is considered a pioneer in the manufacture of flux cored and metal cored welding consumables for hardfacing, rebuilding, repair and maintenance. Our industry-leading ranges also include coated and tubular electrodes for manual hardfacing applications. With more than 50 years of experience in providing solutions dedicated to surface protection, we have a wealth of expertise in developing welding consumables that are specially designed to protect against wear from abrasion, erosion, corrosion, impact, thermal fatigue, metal to metal friction and more.

Our range of cored welding wires are categorised into product families. Below is a brief overview of our main product families for Hardfacing applications, which will help to guide your selection process:

  • HARDFACE: Iron based cored wire for build up or hardfacing
  • ROBODUR: Seamless cored wire for build up or hardfacing
  • ROBOTOOL: Seamless cored wire for hardfacing with specific tool steel compositions
  • CHROMECORE: Cored wire producing a ferritic or martensitic stainless steel weld metal
  • STELLOY (Cobalt): Metal cored wire depositing a cobalt based alloy
  • CORBRONZE: Cored wire depositing a copper based alloy – gas shielded.
