Welding Alloys delivered a new MultiSurfacer R23000 machine, to X-Tek Inc. in February. The machine is a twin head single station roll cladding machine for rolls up to 23 ton.
Delivering the machine is only one component of the total solution that X-Tek receives from Welding Alloys. X-Tek also uses our wires and flux to offer longer life rolls to their customers.
Most importantly, they benefit from WA technical support, which helps optimize their welding procedures. As a result, they are able to deposit 25lbs / hour per head, which means they are rebuilding rolls in half the time that they previously did.
This is just another example of the additional value a complete WA solution can deliver to our customers.
