Welding Alloys South Asia Pvt Ltd – India Cement Road Show

On 31st of January & 1st of February 2019, Welding Alloys South Asia together with Welding Alloys Group hosted the Cement Roadshow at the Marigold Hotel, Hyderabad, India. The event was a great success, with delegates from over 20 cement companies in attendance. Welding Alloys presented its solutions, which included RPMaxIife, Smart Welding, welding consumables for repair and maintenance, MillCarb, Kiln Shell Crack Repair with Gamma 182 and Hardface plate applications.

The roadshow star ted by lighting the lamp of knowledge and wisdom. Light is a symbol of brightness and prosperity as sunlight expels the darkness of might, similarly blessings bring in our business prosperity and happiness.

Those who attended the roadshow included, Dominic Stekly (CEO), Mark Chinalloy (RD Asia), Marc Landragin ( RSD Asia) , Dr. Venugopal Thota (MD – WA South Asia & WA Far East), Pieter du Plessis (Group Product Engineer – Integra Solutions), Nick Sutherland (Key Account Manager – Cement) and the team from Welding Alloys South Asia.

The presentations were very well received and there were intense discussions and fruitful brainstorming on various issues and solutions among the cement plant experts and Welding Alloys team. The good news is we were asked to visit cement plants in different regions, including Bangladesh. Delegates who attended are from major cement groups such as Hidelberg, Aditya Birla, Chettinadu, Jindal, My Home (CRH), Dalmia, Ultra Tech, BK Birla, Ramco etc.

The Welding Alloys sales team, headed by Marc Landragin, is working on a project for the mills first rebuild scheduled this year, thanks to the roadshow and the work put in by the WA team.
