At the end of March, Welding Alloys France participated in the 11th edition of the SIFER International Railway Industry Fair, held every two years in Lille, France.
This show, which brings together the leading manufacturers and suppliers of innovative products, technologies and services for the complex needs of urban and mainline rail networks, is a prime location to meet and discuss the challenges faced at the heart of the industry.
Welding Alloys France took the opportunity to present its cored wires dedicated to joining (HARDFACE TRI S RW-O) and hardfacing (HARDFACE AP RAIL-O; HARDFACE 19 9 6-S; HARDFACE TLN-O) of rails.
The Machine Business Department has also unveiled a prototype of its latest self-shielded wire arc-welding machine: the Rail Joining Machine. Developed in close collaboration with a major French player in the rail sector, this portable and light equipment (40kg) allows the metallurgical assembly of various profiles of urban rail tracks while offering an excellent alternative to technologies such as aluminothermy or flash welding.

During the exhibition, many existing customers and new leads were very interested in our productive and environmentally friendly solutions. Our sales team has been working hard for several weeks to meet the different needs of our customers!
